Born and raised in Messina, Italy, Ermanno attended the L’Oréal Beauty School in Messina before relocating to the United States. After settling in the Los Angeles area, Ermanno continued his studies in cosmetology at the Institute of Beauty. His hard work quickly propelled him to the top echelon of award-winning hair stylists, and his talent has been featured in several magazines.

Ermanno has owned and operated a chain of very successful salons as well as a hair academy. His expertise has been showcased in numerous hair shows, and he and his salons have served many celebrities including Richard Chamberlain, Rick Dees, Peter Marshall, and Marilu Henner.

Apart from being a master haircutter, stylist and colorist, he is also a natural born sculptor, has completed some bronze statues and is working on others, and recently earned his bachelor’s degree in Art at California State University, Northridge. Ermanno’s natural artistic talent as a sculptor was quickly recognized by his professors who, at times had him instruct the students.

Ermanno is also a devoted father of three, an active member in his community, and offers his time and expertise in organizing benefits and fundraisers for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, and many others.
